It seems that NBC.com is providing a lot of goodies to carry us over while we wait for Volume 4. As some of you might know, there were some scenes with Knox that were to be explored earlier this season that never made it on the show. NBC.com has decided to release 3 short Web Exclusives that give us a glimpse into Knox’ past and his surprising connection to Parkman. The series is called “Hard Knox” and two of the videos have already been released. From what we’ve heard, a third video is on the way as well. Follow this link to NBC.com and check out the first two videos entitled “Choices” and “Get Straight.”
Looking to fill that Heroes void during the winter hiatus? Well NBC might have just the thing you’re looking for. Actually, you might have just the thing that NBC is looking for! NBC.com has just launched “Heroes in a Hurry,” a video creation and editing contest about your favorite character during Volume 3. They’re accepting short videos filmed by fans, asking you to briefly tell parts of the Heroes story in your own words. They are even including a “Toolbox” of video clips for each character to incorporate into your video. Videos are to be 30 - 60 seconds long and you can create as many as you want. The best of the best will be featured on the Heroes website in the near future. Head on over to Heroes in a Hurry at NBC.com and see what it’s all about!

Dual, the end of Volume 3: Villains, was an intense episode full of twists and turns, worthy of being a mid-season finale. Derek and I practically lost track of time while going over Dual and this podcast has become our longest one ever. This week we discuss the implications of what happened in Dual and how it set up the next volume of Heroes: Fugitives. This is our final podcast for 2008, we hope you all have a very safe and happy holiday season! See you in 2009!

This week we discuss “Our Father,” an emotionally heavy and very impressive episode which did a great job of setting all of the pieces in place for this coming Monday’s “Villains” finale. Lots of headlines, theories, topics and spoilers are inside! Only one more episode left until Heroes takes a break only to come back in early February with the much anticipated Volume 4, “Fugitives” storyline. Enjoy!
